Temporary Retirement and Baby L

Wow, it's been over two years since the last post on here! Short story: we moved to Iowa, got immediately pregnant (and sick) and I went into self-imposed retirement until I felt better / had baby / knew where we'd be living next etc. and suddenly it had been 2 years. I have way too many sessions to post so I'll just skip them all and post my baby girls' newborn pictures because I might be a little biased and think that Baby L is the cutest thing in the world ;) Picture overload, you have been warned.

Baby R and the F family!!!

Oh, how I love this family! I'm so sad that we will soon be living in different states :( At least I got to see them welcome their latest addition, handsome Mr. R. Here are some of his first portraits, along with some fun family shots. Thanks, as always, to the F family for being my test subjects for new ideas. This time we tried an at-home session, and I love how they turned out! Something about cozying up on mom and dad's bed is just so comfy and loving :)

This little guy gets to join such a fun family! He's already the perfect 3rd child (sleeps through everything!).

Beautiful Baby K

Beautiful Baby R

Spring is certainly in the air with all the babies arriving around here! Here is darling little Baby R and her family. I'm not sure I've ever met a little baby who loved to sleep so much! She was a true delight to photograph. Here are a few early favorites:

Sweet Baby "E"

Okay, I'm too excited to wait until I have more pics to post. I've been out on self-imposed maternity leave for too long! Here are a few pics of beautiful baby "E" and her perfect little face, perfect skin, and perfect tutu!! She has obviously inherited her mother's impeccable sense of style.

Big "T" is a natural big brother - he loves her! AND didn't drop her :)

My little baby "J" is here!!!!

... and has been here for 4 weeks already and I'm just now posting these. Better late than never, right? We are so excited to have her here and think she's darling. She clocked in at 8 lbs 1 oz, 21 inches long on June 18th (over a week early, yay!). Here are some (okay a ton) pictures from our week long photo shoot. These were all taken between 4 and 10 days old.
