I had to grab some pictures of the kids before the corn fields went crispy and the hay bales were transported out of the fields. Both of these locations were within 2 miles of my house. Thanks, Iowa!
I avoid asking subjects to say "cheese" because it usually produces the worst smiles ever. (Tip: tell them a joke, have them tell a joke, make animal sounds etc. to get natural smiles and giggles). Alas, I was flying solo on this shoot and the kids were tired/hungry/silly and being... well... kids. So I resorted to having them say "CHEESE!" for a few frames. The results were awesome/terrible.
